The Nikon D7000 is a 16.2 megapixel SLR camera and is powered by Nikon EXPEED 2 image processing technology. This SLR camera has a Nikon DX format CMOS sensor with a dimension of 23.6 x 15.6 mm.
The D7000 weighs 690g and has dimension of 132 x 105 x 77 mm. The camera has Fixed eye-level Pentaprism Viewfinder and a 3-inch low-temperature polysilicon TFT LCD with 921,000 dot pixels resolution. In terms of memory, the camera supports SD memory card and is SDHC and SDXC compliant. It supports MOV and H.264 video formats, and NEF, NEF (RAW) + Fine JPEG, and JPEG image formats. Portrait, landscape, child, sports, close up, night portrait, night landscape, party/indoor, beach/snow, sunset, dusk/dawn, pet portrait, candlelight, blossom, autumn colors, food, silhouette, high key, and low key are the various scene modes supported by the camera. A user can also set up a self timer of 2, 5, 10, or 20 seconds and continuous shot can be taken at 6fps. The Nikon D7000 SLR camera supports USB 2.0 and HDMI Mini connector.
